Inline. On time. Outstanding. How the Spinny S2300 goes with the flow.
Fully automated and conveyor-fed, the Spinny S2300 Inline pallet wrapper can handle 50–70 pallets an hour – a considerable hands-free output for growing DCs (or those looking to grow).
Many distribution centres have pinch points – those spots where things bank up at the wrong times, placing stress on other areas and increasing the costs associated with double-handling or missed load times. Often these are a ‘champagne problem’ – successful times requiring greater resources to come with increased demand.
The Spinny S2300 Inline provides the perfect answer for companies that have grown or evolved to where greater pallet wrapping speed and efficiency is now vital.
At the top of the Spinny range, it is a fully automated, conveyor-fed production wrapper that takes pallets in one end, wraps them quickly with protection-perfect film, and sends them on their way.
Here are five reasons why the S2300 could be the best choice for your operation.
————————————
1. Increase pallet throughput
The S2300 Inline is built straight into your conveyor line. Powered in-and-out feed conveyors carry each pallet onto the turntable and away again once it’s wrapped, so the spinning never has to stop. Capable of wrapping between 50 and 70 loads an hour, it can shift some serious volume.
There are a couple of features that make this possible, the photocell reading each load’s height as it arrives, and a fully automated clamp welding and cutting to finish every pallet cleanly without any manual work. That’s what sets this model apart from systems that rely on loading each pallet onto the turntable and off again.
2. Cut plastic and cut costs
The powered pre-stretch carriage of the S2300 Inline stetches film up to 300%, ensuring companies can take advantage of the cost savings and sustainability improvements that newer stretch wrap products provide. The cost per carton of this stretch wrap can seem initially higher. However, with the right scoping and the right settings on the S2300 Inline, the cost per pallet wrapped can be markedly reduced.
3. More wrapping, less people.
The touchscreen holds ten programmable wrap recipes for different loads. Wrap height runs to 2300mm, and the turntable takes up to 2000kg, comfortably covering a standard 1200 x 1200mm pallet. Need it to do more? Custom options include additional conveyors, an integrated safety system, a top-cover applicator and a silent compressor.
Because the S2300 Inline handles the wrap cycle on its own, it takes people out of the packaging process. There’s less manual handling and the DC crew is freed up for the work that really needs them. With fewer people moving around heavy equipment it’s lot safer, too.
4. Built to keep running
Like every Spinny, the Italian-made S2300 Inline is backed by a three-year factory warranty. It uses a high proportion of non-proprietary parts, with quick availability of these parts nationwide and the backing of our service network. Should something go wrong, we can put it right with minimal downtime.
5. Multi-choice purchase options
Investing in the best pallet wrapping machine should never be an ‘off the shelf’ purchase. Sometimes it’s helpful to get one working on-site before committing to the larger spend. That’s why we’ve ensured there’s more than one way to get an S2300 up and running and earning its keep.
The choices run from buying outright or leasing to own through to a straight lease or short-term hire. Whatever suits your cash flow and your volumes, there’s a path that puts the machine to work sooner rather than later.*
