Scroll through the internet long enough and you’re bound to find plenty of dubiously constructed pieces of pallet ‘craft’.
Every now and then however, there’s some quality craftsmanship that really stands out…
Such was the case when we discovered the skills of one woodworking guru who, besides working a day job at Fonterra Clandeboye, also puts out a range of stylish pieces made from old Universal Packaging hardwood import pallets.
The passion within the work is obvious, as is the respect for the raw product in allowing the natural attributes to shine through. There are no coloured stains at work here – just linseed oil and old-fashioned expertise.
