Slip stop, wrap.
From the number of new orders, it is clear Kiwi companies are sick of the slip and slide that comes with unwanted movement of loads during the pre-packaging and transportations stages.
It’s an ongoing issue when DC teams are under meeting shipping targets or under pressure with increased workloads. This is when unstable pallets being moved during pre-packaging can cause such grief. Small incidents of unstable pallets can take up valuable time, along with the safety risks and potential for product damage).
However, additional hand wrapping of pallets or other temporary measures can eat into time and create additional cost. Any answer needs to be one that is both fast and effective. And that’s the point of this rather pointy-sounding product.
Stabulon’s anti-slip paper sheets are recyclable and reusable. They can easily be placed by hand with no extra equipment needed. Most importantly, they’re highly effective at preventing product layers shifting during shipping and handling. The sheets have a quite incredible coefficient of friction on both sides. In testing some products could be held in place even when leaned up to 42°.
With these in place, errant pallet loads are no longer a problem for more and more Kiwi distribution operations.
