How the Spinny S300 makes life easy (and why it’s now easier to buy one)
The growth in popularity of the Spinny S300 will come as no surprise to those who have worked with this powerful, adaptable stretch wrapping equipment. As New Zealand joins the Spinny revolution, we look at why the S300 is so helpful – and how a stretch wrapper payment plan might be just what the distributor ordered.

Recently the S300’s capabilities have been discovered by companies around the country. These include Martin Brower New Zealand’s new distribution centre in Auckland, where the S300 is ensuring the logistics giant can quickly and confidently move McDonalds goods around the country.

Mauri have also recently invested in an S300 too, their Christchurch manufacturing premises delivering on the ‘baking better together’ promise by making sure they can pack better together. It’s clear that the ongoing peace of mind the S300 delivers to Kiwi companies is hugely valuable.

Why life’s simple with the S300
Much of the appeal of the Spinny S300 can be found in its power pre-stretch carriage, which consistently stretches film to its optimum. In doing so it wraps more with less, reducing pallet wrap waste without compromising load integrity.

Pre-programmed settings make a range of different load applications a breeze too. This makes the S300 pallet wrapper ideal for unstable or awkward loads, and especially so for very light, crushable products. Packing multi-SKU loads can also require a light touch (albeit one with unwavering reliability and binding capability). The S300 delivers this ‘graceful strength’ perfectly, each and every time.

It means that retail-ready goods in the FMCG category can be quickly and efficiently protected with the least amount of time – and with minimal wrap and maximum effectiveness. For small to medium food manufacturers, this can make a major difference in labour costs and product returns.

The best way to buy?
While our customers are generally purchasing the S300 outright, some are also taking advantage of favourable lease to own conditions to spread the investment across a 36-month schedule. The lease approach allows companies to make monthly payments over a three-year timeframe and, in doing so, often helps put the S300 to work far more quickly.

Companies are also working with Universal Packaging to set in place a service and maintenance schedule post-purchase. These arrangements are highly effective in protecting the lifespan of equipment while ensuring any minor repair issues don’t become major headaches.
